Reducing Bias & Increasing Inclusion in Your Workplace: Recruitment and Hiring Recruiting top talent is an ongoing process for organizations. Yet, biases can negatively impact or limit how organizations identify, attract, and evaluate potential candidates.
Reducing biases in recruitment can help expand talent pipelines and ultimately lead to more equitable workplaces for all employees. In this talk, Natalia Eileen provides participants with a greater understanding of common biases in recruitment and equips her audience with best practices to address these biases throughout the recruitment process.
Bio: Natalia Eileen Villarmán is the Founder/CEO of Seen@Work, a boutique consulting firm that offers companies of all sizes and industries community-building programming and inclusion coaching/training. With over 12 years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), Natalia worked full time in DEIB at a variety of organizations including Danone, Deloitte, Meta, and Teach For America. Natalia graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School with an MBA in Organizational Effectiveness, from the Relay Graduate School of Education with a MA in Teaching, and from New York University with a BA in History. When not providing DEIB services, Natalia Eileen enjoys quality time with her labradoodle, Soni, and her husband, Daniel.
