​Kate Sargent has over 20 years of experience in People Operations, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, and D2C Strategy with B Corps and ESG-centered retail and CPG companies. Recognized as a LinkedIn Top Coaching Voice, she was VP of People & Head of Global Talent Acquisition at The Citizenry, Allbirds, Method, and The North Face, as well as founding KJS Coaching & Consulting where she provides Individual and Team Coaching for Job Search, Performance and Leadership and helps new Founders and Independent Consultants build their strategy and voice as they go out on their own.

​Her newest projects include fractional people ops leadership, start up advising for a stealth retail rental app, working with Colorwave, a nonprofit focused on supporting first generation workforce gaining access to the VC, tech and innovation space and co-founding The Plus One Collective, a community of like minded solopreneurs and side hustlers who all have pro bono give back model. Known for honesty, humor and a no fluff approach to coaching and advising, Kate looks to continue finding ways to build and support individuals and businesses through effective people strategies and meaningful social impact work. She lives in the east bay and is a married mom of two girls, two dogs and two cats and loves writing, watching obscure movies and playing overly competitive Jeopardy.
